Sterling Pipe & Tube, a tube mill located in Toledo, Ohio, has been supplying quality, electric welded steel tubing and steel pipe to a variety of different industries across the United States since 1987. With more than 300,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehousing space, we currently have five tube mills in operation. We manufacture steel tubing and steel pipe up to 6 5/8" O.D.

Our Welded Steel Tubing and Steel Pipe Products

At Sterling Pipe & Tube, we produce round steel tubing, square steel tubing and rectangular steel tubing as well as mechanical tubing. Our gauges range from 18 (.049) to 7 (.180). (Go to sizes/shapes for specific sizes.) All of our steel tubing is produced to ASTM-A500 and ASTM-A513 specifications. We have the ability to flash control, flash cut, and produce material in various finishes including hot rolled, hot rolled pickled and oiled, cold rolled, aluminized, and hot dipped galvanized tubing.

In addition, we manufacture sch 10 and sch 40 pipe. Sch 10 and sch 40 steel pipe sizes that we manufacture on a regular basis are 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2", 2" and 2 1/2". We also manufacture 3" and 3 1/2" sch 10 steel pipe.

Re-Cutting Our Welded Steel Tubing and Steel Pipe

We have re-cutting capabilities for all sizes produced. We have four cutting machines; three Havens and one Pines. These cutting machines give us a great deal of flexibility in providing cut-to-length steel tubing for our customers. Our in-house cutting capabilities also allow us greater control over scheduling of our products in order to meet our customer's schedules.

In-Stock and Made-To-Order Steel Tubing and Steel Pipe

Sterling Pipe and Tube manufactures steel tubing and steel pipe for a number of industries across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Australia. Many of our customers order custom sizes which require us to schedule numerous "made-to-order" production runs. We also carry a large inventory of round steel tubing, square steel tubing, and rectangular mechanical tubing and steel pipe in a variety of sizes and gauges. Sterling Pipe and Tube Facilities

Plant #3 produces large diameter, light-weight steel tubing and is ISO/TS 16949:2000 and ISO 9001:2000 certified. All of our other facilities are ISO compliant.
